On the 2. October 2025, Janne Teller was awarded the prestigious BUDAPEST GRAND PRIZE for her literary oeuvre by the Mayor of Budapest, Gergely Karácsony, on behalf of the Hungarian Publishers and Booksellers Association. This comes at the same time as the publication of her novel ‘Are You Proud of Me, Joanna?’ in Hungarian by her publishing house, Scolar.
